Telemedicine TRT in 5 Easy Steps
Here’s how telemedicine TRT works:
Fill out a
contact form
Schedule a phone consultation
Get a
blood test
Review your
test results
Have a telemedicine visit
First, fill out a secure contact form on our website or call us at 877-732-5629. Your answers should briefly tell us why you’re interested in TRT. Be sure to share which symptoms you’re experiencing and what you hope to gain through TRT. After we receive your form, one of our treatment specialists will reach out to help you begin your next steps.
If we determine that you’re a good fit for TRT, your treatment specialist will help you select a day and time for a phone consultation. During this call, you’ll speak with one of our TRT program directors to learn how TRT works, how much it costs, and what you can expect before, during, and after treatment. You’ll also have an opportunity to ask questions and discuss any special concerns you may have.
Next, you’ll get a blood test. To accurately determine if your testosterone levels warrant treatment, we require a complete hormone panel. This includes all of the sex hormones, metabolic hormones, CBC, and differentials. It’s best to get tested early in the morning when testosterone levels are at their peak. We suggest using Labcorp or Quest Diagnostics, but you can use any lab company you’re comfortable with. The collection process generally takes less than 20 minutes and it costs around $200.
Your results will generally be available in about 2 to 7 days. Once you receive them, you’ll have one more call with a treatment specialist who will walk you through these results. During this appointment, your treatment specialist will be able to confirm whether TRT is the right path for you.
Finally, if your test results indicate that TRT is an appropriate option, you’ll have a private telemedicine visit with one of our board-certified physicians. After conducting a thorough evaluation of your health risks and medical history, your doctor will prescribe a TRT medication that is right for you. This medication may be a cream, patch, gel, tablet, or capsule depending on your needs. We will even ship it right to your door!
After you begin treatment, you’ll have frequent check-ins with your treatment care team to monitor your progress and results.

Telemedicine TRT: A Step-by-Step Guide
Testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is a common treatment for low testosterone, which is the primary male sex hormone. When levels of this hormone are low, it can lead to impairments in social, physical, and mental health. With telemedicine, TRT is easier than ever. All you need is a smartphone, tablet, or computer.
This step-by-step guide to telemedicine TRT will help you understand how to get started with this safe, effective at-home hormone replacement therapy.
What is Low Testosterone?
Low testosterone, sometimes called “Low-T” is common in men over 40. A testosterone value below 300 nanograms per deciliter (ng/dl) is generally considered low.
Common symptoms of low testosterone include a low sex drive, erectile dysfunction, poor sexual performance, difficulty concentrating, reduced muscle mass and strength, and increased body fat.
TRT is an FDA-approved hormone replacement therapy that works by restoring testosterone in the body until it reaches a normal level. Most people see improvements in 4 to 6 weeks after they begin treatment.
Testosterone replacement therapy requires a physician evaluation and it is only available by prescription. These requirements help ensure that your symptoms are related to Low-T rather than another medical condition.
Telehealth makes it easy and convenient to treat low testosterone at home. To get started, complete the contact form on our website and get your blood work done. Then, you will meet with one of our doctors who will prescribe a customized TRT treatment that is right for you.
